Full name:
Martynas Kazlauskas
About:
Since I was young, I tried to organize my own creative surroundings which enabled me to create my music/sound projects with various music producers, audio designers, vocalists, filmmakers and writers but I realized that my region was a limited, moving to Scotland strongly motivated me to explore audio, electronics at The BSc (Hons) Audio Technology course at Glasgow Caledonian University.
During my personal development as well as in the game audio module in my university course I have created several Unreal Engine and Unity projects where I created, implemented and mixed all audio assets using programmable events. In addition, I recently finished a course in “Game Music Composition & Implementation” where I greatly improved my skills as a game sound designer as well as my knowledge of Unity and FMOD/Wwise.
I have also garnered a fairly deep knowledge of ProTools, AbletonLive, Reaper and Izotope RX. In addition, during my junior front-end developer period, I had an opportunity to work with GitHub and Perforce.
Finally, all my game audio projects taught me to accentuate the importance of using smart memory management which is based on numerous factors, including asset‘s spectrum frequency.
Currently, I am focusing on learning C++ programming, which will set me on the path to become a better audio professional overall, understanding the technical structures of programming video games and other audio based software.
