January 30th was quite possibly the most important day in Jeremiah's life, for January 30th marked the anniversary of his birth. It also marked the day he received the name of Jeremiah Lindsey, a series of vowels and syllables that he had since become accustom to responding to. Jeremiah Lindsey grew to be a relatively normal human male. He walked normally, he talked normally, he chewed his socks normally, and he dressed normally. However, Jeremiah was not too normal to the point of being dull, for, like most people, he was not immune to having a few quirks. For example, he maintained an irrational fear of ladybugs, he only bought loafs of bread that were divided into 22 slices, and when putting on his pants, he would always, always, start with his right leg, although, that's not something anyone knew. He also firmly believed that every Tuesday is exactly 17.278 minutes longer than any other day. He always adjusted his clocks to compensate for the extra time and while most would think he was crazy for doing such a thing, no one could deny the fact that Jeremiah was consistently punctual. Jeremiah spent countless hours lounging in his two bedroom apartment lamenting over all he had to do. So, as if he was a child throwing a tantrum, he often decided to protest by not doing anything.
