Jam Site Description:

We're the University of Suffolk! We'll be going for the hybrid approach over this weekend which means you can join our discord and take part in the experience there! Should be a fantastic experience for you all.

We'll kick things off at 4:30pm in the Atrium Building, so for all external guests please come to that building and I'll let you in. Please try not to be late because I can't be in two places at once! Looking forward to seeing you all.

If you need to park a car anywhere, then I recommend the carpark at Duke Street, NOT the one next to the campus. This is for permit holders only and I don't want you to get fined unnecessarily.

For members who are taking part remotely, we will have a lobby in the discord to post screenshots, socialise, join the voice chat, etc! So there will be some element of a social experience throughout.

For members taking part in person, we will start at 4:30pm (roughly), have our sponsors deliver some words of wisdom, and then we will watch the reveal video and keynote. After that, we will go off to the games labs, cafe area etc to design and develop our games!

Other rooms will be open throughout the event if you ever need to step away from the computer for quiet time.

We should aim to get all our game profiles set up on the website at around lunchtime on the Saturday. This will help prevent crazy crunch during the last few hours on Sunday. Towards the end of the jam, we will have an hour's playtime so that everyone can experience what all the teams have been creating. After the game playing we will wrap up with a quick thank you from me.
