Starting the Game
-You and your opponent will assemble a team of 1-3 slugs (1 on 1 for digital players)
-After both teams are assembled, the Battle Round starts, players will then randomly determine which player will get the first turn of the round (rolling a die, flipping a coin, etc.)
Playing the Game
-The winner of the (Coin Toss, Rock paper Scissors, etc) will take the first turn of the round.)
-On your turn, pick one of your slugs to activate, you cannot activate a slug that has already activated this round.
-Once you've activated a slug, select one of their Slime Abilities to use. (You cannot select a Slime Ability that you cannot pay the Slime Cost for) The cost of the ability is taken from your slime total, then, the text of the ability resolves in the order it is written.
-Once the Slime ability is resolved, it then becomes your opponents turn.
-Repeat this process, alternating turns until all slugs have been activated once, then, a new round begins.
- When you use a slime ability, first, declare which ability you are going to use, then, declare a target Slug for the ability.
- When you use a Slime Ability, the cost of the ability is taken from your slime total, then, the text of the ability resolves in the order it is written. (You cannot use a Slime Ability that you cannot pay the Slime Cost for)
Damage and HP
-When a slug is targeted for damage, subtract the total damage from their HP.
-Certain effects alter the amount of damage done to Slugs, apply these effects before subtracting the damage from their HP.
-When a Slug reaches 0 HP, they are destroyed.
Winning the Game
-Win your game of Slugfest by destroying all the enemy slugs!
