Root of all Evil

A witch has planted an evil seed in the middle of an enchanted forest. Spread your roots far and wide and corrupt the forest whole! The player has to spread their roots towards water pools scattered throughout the forest, while protecting themselves and the sprouts from the forest's inhabitants. By growing, the player will acquire new abilities with which to defend themselves and their sprouts while corrupting the rest of the forest.
