Root to Survival

A massive meteor from the Deep Space falls on the Earth. In the impact, it destroys all life on the surface, and then from its core, roots sprout to infect everything. These don’t only dig into the terrain, but they also reach for the sky, covering the entirety of the world in a dim darkness. The sole survivor is a lone miner, trapped underground since the Apocalypse. Now his life is locked into an eternal loop: to escape the meteorite’s roots and survive as long as possible.
