Join the award winning game development team at WGU for the most experienced Global Game Jam site in Wales. Our Jam is supported by a team of experienced developers from both academia and the games industry. We will be hosting a live feed, Q&A and a interviewing development teams throughout the event.
This year, we are running a HYBRID site. This means that our 2022 jam site will be a face to face event but we are also supporting online participation using our official WGU Discord Community.
Before joining us on site, please be sure you have a facemask. We also recommend that you take a Lateral Flow Test.
Our Jam is open to ALL (attendees under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult), and we also welcome jammers from across the world.

Games Talent Wales
Games Talent Wales is a grassroots talent development program for the games developers, focused on university alumni and final year students. Annually, the programme supports eight companies made up of students from the two lead supporting universities, all of which launch their games at the EGX Games Talent Wales exhibition. Participating companies receive business support, grand funding, incubation space, and mentoring from top Welsh game studios as well as individual industry mentors. Games Talent Wales is backed by the UK Games Funds Tranzfuser and funded by the Welsh Government.
