Shock Lab 2022

Welcome to Shock Lab 2022!

We are a very inclusive jam site and looking to attract anyone who is interested. Especially inexperienced people who want to try out game development. People who might have very unconventional, different or new ideas about games. Possibly with not a lot of experience, or experience in other creative areas such as singing, musical instruments, physical or performance art or even other non-related or non-creative skills.

This is a guided creative workshop by us. We will guide you through Discord (or other platform) and a guide booklet made by us! Shock Lab creates a relaxed working environment and we take extra care of introverts and minorities. We love to facilitate collaborations, with new and interesting people and let the inspiration flow endlessly. We want to pay you for your investment of time and energy.

You never know where your skills or knowledge can be applied, as along as you're enthusiastic to work on some sort of game, we'll make it work! We hope this event will leave you with a feeling of accomplishment.

We'd like to point out that you don't need any programming, drawing or other skills to join this jam. Even if you are very skilled, we are encouraging you to try something you have never done before.

The most important thing during this jam is having a fun time together! We hope for surprising encounters and unexpected connections. See you there! c:
