Seattle Indies is back for Global Game Jam 2022! This jam will be mostly online and remote, so please join our Discord now!
Q: When is the jam starting?
A: This jam site will be starting on January 28th at 6pm PST!! (including the keynote and teamforming exercises)
Q: When is the jam ending?
A: The deadline for jamming is 5pm PST on January 30th. (Followed by a final presentations shortly after)
Q: But the header at the top of the page says January 20th?
A: Some other jam sites are starting and ending earlier than us, some as early as January 20th. But this jam site will be starting on January 28th at 6pm PST.
Q: Where online is the jam hosted?
A: We are hosting it mostly through our Discord server! We'll also be streaming on our Twitch channel here and there.
Q: Can jammers from outside of Seattle join?
A: Absolutely!!
Q: What do we upload before the end of the jam?
A: By 5pm PST on January 30th, you must upload a playable build of your game AND a video of your gameplay (no more 3 minutes long).
Q: What are the final presentations?
A: After the jam has ended, we'll celebrate by watching through all the gameplay videos. If you want, you can talk over your video to share thoughts and context about the game.
Q: Does everyone on my team need to sign up here?
A: Yes, please!! At the end of the jam, you'll link each and every team mate on the game, to give them credit!

Saturday, January 29th, 1pm to 7pm PST: Swing by anytime on Discord to hang with other devs.
Sunday, January 30th, 5pm PST: Upload your game build and gameplay video (no more than 3 minutes)
Sunday, January 30th, 6pm PST: Final Presentations in our Discord!! (Not to be confused with the upload deadline, which is 5pm!!)
