NEEDED! ARTISTS, ANIMATORS, CODERS, TESTERS, ONLINE, IN-PERSON, ANYONE!

The Animation Game Design Program invites you to join the Global Game Jam site held at Kent State University's Tuscarawas Campus. Global Game Jam is a worldwide, annual event that takes place over the course of one weekend. Participants, “Jammers,” will form teams and will be given a prompt. Jammers will use this prompt for designing and building their own game: 2D, 3D, digital, tabletop, even all of the above!

Global Game Jam is open to anyone regardless of skill level and is a good way to build a creative community. Jammers, from amateur to industry level, come together at each site location to create new exciting games and then showcase them to the world. This year's Global Game Jam site at Kent State will be open between Jan 28 - 30. Students are welcome and able to participate both virtually and in-person!

Register, and come join in the fun of making games with students as well as upcoming developers! This event will encourage jammers to challenge themselves and help drive their creativity to reach new limits. The Kent State Global Game Jam site will be a great place to learn, design, and network with individuals who are passionate about digital media, software development, and visual design.
