The host organisation, comPVter, is an association of dozens of computer and tech enthusiasts operating in Pavia since many years. They have a large HQ close to the train station which would be used as the GGJ site. There is plenty of table space, power plugs, connectivity and wide screens.
The location is also home to a series of valuable collections by the association's members such as a videogame history collection, a computing history collection, a memory supports history collection, a camera history collection.
The university of Pavia, with 20K+ students, is one of the oldest of the world and this event would no doubt attract academic and social interest. Pavia is very close to Milan and the organisers have work and academic connections with Milanese entities too.
