Nyctophobia

Nyctophobia is a 2D pixel art game about a little kid who fears the dark. When it’s dark the kid starts imagining things that aren’t there. We applied the theme (duality) of this game jam, by having the switch between dark and light through the lighting of the game. The goal of the game is to find the kid’s parents and staying in the light while doing so. CONTROLS: WASD to move Spacebar to jump S to drop through a platform Left Control to crouch/crawl E to drop/pickup candle & close window By making your way through different dark rooms and lighting them up you unlock doors to the next ones. Slowly making your way towards the end of the game and your parents who can hopefully protect you.
