Async Desync

One day a normal person walks around, normally. All of a sudden they step on a lego and, in that instant, the pain is so intense that reality splits in two. This results in the protagonist being split into 2 protagonists, which the player controls asynchronously by switching from reality to reality. The two of them have to work together to save the multi-verse and put reality back to normal. Fixing this would be easy with some reality-glue, but the protagonist just ran out (dang). Take control of the two protagonist as they venture forward in search of the reality-glue. Each character can only interact with their own reality so they have to team up to get to the end together.
