Way Back Home

The rover Opportunity leaves Mother Base on Mars for a routine mission. Its autonomy is enough to get the job done, but there is not enough energy left to go back home, and it shuts down in order to regain strengths. When it wakes up after a sandstorm, Opportunity finds itself in the middle of the Mars desert and needs to find a way back home. The journey will be long and exhausting. Way Back Home is a game about finding the way when you're lost, sacrificing parts of yourself.
