The El Pomar Institute for Innovation and Commercialization (EPIIC) will host the 7th Annual UCCS Global Game Jam at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs from 1/31/20- 2/2/20.

The jam will be held in the BI Lab in Osborne Center A206 and The STEM Room A340.

The jamming starts at 5pm Friday 1/31(we will open about 4pm).

Angus Chassels, UC Entrepreneur in Residence and faculty member in the UCCS Bachelor of Innovation program is the organizer of this event. You can contact him with questions by e-mail: [email protected]

The Global Game Jam is a 48 hour event, but like many locations, our site closes at night (approx 1am-8am) so participants can get rested for the next day.  REMEMBER:  Participants should plan to attend the entire duration of the event as your team will need you to complete your game!

We are looking to provide Lunch and Dinner and plenty of caffeine sources and snacks for each jam day!  (So:  Dinner on Friday night, Lunch and Dinner Saturday, and Lunch Sunday)

Traditionally the focus in the past has been on PC video games but V/R & A/R, board, dice and card game makers are also very welcome.

We have had some amazing table top games developed over the years!

Registration is FREE but you MUST REGISTER to participate!!  No exceptions!

UCCS and the Global Game Jam organizers are dedicated to providing a harassment-free experience for everyone, regardless of race, color, sex, disability, religion, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, veteran’s status, age, or physical appearance.

Onsite security and first aid response provided by the UCCS Police.
