The Factory

The Factory is a simple puzzle game set in an authoritarian nation, occupied by Animal Crossing style characters. You play as a factory worker tasked to repair various gear-based machines. This is done by placing gears to connect the drive gear (green) with the end gear (red) within a 10 second time limit. You can hold shift to place a chain gear (yellow). The next chain gear you place will connect to the first, provided it's inside the yellow-tinted range. But, not only are you expected to complete the 10 levels, you must pick a side in the rebellion! You can support the rebels with sabotage: Simply place a damaged gear (purple) in as many machines as you can. To avoid you getting caught, damaged gears won't stop your machine running when tested - only once they've been shipped out. But, you can be caught if the machine fails to run due to poor design, upsetting your boss. There are 5 different endings based on your popularity with the two factions.
