Global Game Jam is the world's largest game jam. We're happy to be back at Mount Royal University to crank out awesome games in 48 hours!
Programmers, artists, audio creators and those with ideas are all welcome to take part and work with teams.
The format we follow is:
1. Theme is announced
2. Game idea brainstorming
3. Group formation
4. Jam!
There are two types of tickets this year
Basic Jammer ($10, no t-shirt)
Pro Jammer ($25, t-shirt incl.)
Cost of event pays for costs associated with running the event.
FAQs
Are there minimum age requirements to enter the event?
This event is age restricted to 18+ individuals.
What are my parking options?
Parking is available at MRU in Lot 2 (closest to the event) Mount Royal Parking Prices
There is free parking a little ways away if you want to save money and get some exercise

What are my food options?
There is a food court inside MRU. Please see the hours of operations here.
Some snacks will be provided (all depends on budget)
Protip: Once your group has been formed on Friday, make a Safeway run.
What should I bring to the event?
Tools
A laptop or desktop, Wacom, Instrument, etc.
Food
Snacks/drinks. Some snack items will be available at the event, but you may want a healthier 3 AM snack. Meals are NOT supplied.
Sleeping Supplies
Pillow, sleeping bag, toothbrush and your favorite teddy bear
