Hey there! We are Chasing Carrots, a small indie game studio in Stuttgart. For many years we have been organizing the Global Game Jam in our city, and for the second time, we will be hosting it together with the Stadtbibliothek Stuttgart. We're looking forward to an amazingly creative and friendly weekend with you there!

How can I register for participation?
Registrations at this site are now open. The final registration will be available via our Stuttgart Game Dev Meetup site some days after. The link will be added here.
Is there a limited number of jammers?
Yes, up to 65 people can participate.
When does the jam begin/end?
Check-in starts at 15:00. Official kick-off with keynote is 17:00. The jam ends on Sunday around 16:30.
What should you bring?
Please bring any hardware and tools you are going to use, and make sure you install big software packages before the event. Also, a toothbrush and sleeping bag might be a good idea, in case you want to stay overnight.
Why the admission fee?
We organize the GGJ in our spare time and we want to provide the best experience possible. We hope the small fee is a fair way to support us :)
How can jammers communicate online?
For exchange before and during the jam, we have a Discord you can join.
Will this jam be documented?
Yes. We would like to point out that filming and photography will take place during the event. With your participation, you agree that photos and films on which you are depicted can be published.
I don't speak German. Can I still come?
Of course. We're happy to have anyone participating, regardless of your origin. That's why the information here is in English.
Can I stop by and watch?
There will be a guided tour for non-participants on Saturday starting at 6 pm. For press coverage please contact [email protected].
