Spaceman Spiff is flying in his ship through an asteroid belt. Everything goes wrong when an asteroid crashes into him, causing him to crash land on an unknown planet. Stranded on the foreign planet until he fixes his ship, he sets out to find the missing parts. Along the way he is reminded of home.
