Glyph is an assymetrical deduction game. One player represents one of the last members of an ancient civilization who holds the key to language of the mysteriousl glyphs - powerful symbols that can shape the very environment. While the other players represent members of a new civilization trying to learn this languange and master its powers of manipulation.
The game plays in series of rounds, in which all players place shards, to build a glyph that will trasmit its powers and transform the board. Each player has its own objectives and try to arrange the board in certain ways, but at the start of the game only the Ancient player knows what each glyph does. So the other player have to deduct the effects in order to make the changes they want. On the other hand, the objectives of the Ancient are different and more difficult to complete, since it already knows the key.
