Conspiracy Cat

***** Play Now at: ***** BACKSTORY: It is a little know fact that in the 1960s the CIA developed a super top secret program of using cats embedded with microphones and radio transmitters to spy on the Kremlin. Tragically, the multi-gazillion dollar Acoustic Kitty was flattened on it's first mission by a flatbed truck towing a 10 ton load of cat nip. Acoustic Kitty was subsequently salvaged by the KGB and backwards engineered into a mechanical franken-kitty. A complicated series of microchips, acoustic arrays and telecommunications record the kitty's surroundings and transmits it back to the Soviets. The KGB then unleashed the new Conspiracy Cat on the unsuspecting Americans. However, as we all know cats have a mind of their own so sometimes Conspiracy Cat doesn't quite follow directions. Certain elements have been added or exaggerated for play value, but this is actually based on a real, top-secret mission during the cold war, code-named Acoustic Kitty. You can listen to this quick retelling of the story here: (this podcast inspired the game!) GAMEPLAY: The player controls the Conspiracy Cat by zapping using microchips embedded in it's body. The A and D keys control left and right movement. S key controls acceleration by sending a super zap. Pressing SPACE starts or restarts gameplay. Try to get as close to the Spy as possible, but be careful to stay out of sight (the red area in front of the spy). If you get too close you could get caught.
