The people on your ship are the last of the human race to use hair gel. Hair gel blocks Cthuhlu's telepathic powers, and gives your hair that perfect wave. Now he uses his mighty powers to send after the player pirates and storms, in order to control the world. Once you reach distance 100, you get far enough away from his influence to win the game.
