Contents of the game
12 Italian Bootleg wine cards
12 Irish Moonshine whiskey cards
12 Russian Babushka Vodka cards
12 Common Plain ol Beer cards
2 FBI Investigator cards
24 MAFIA FAMILY CARDS
At the start of the game, 5 CONTRABAND cards are dealt to each player.
At the start of the turn each player draws a MAFIA FAMILY card from the MAFIA FAMILY deck and places it face up in front of him. In round 2 players place their MAFIA FAMILY cards over the ones they had in the previous round.
All players place a number (1 to 5) of CONTRABAND cards from their hand, face down in the middle of the table. The pile is shuffled and players get back the number of cards they put in.
Players then reveal the cards they drew from the pile, and place them under their MAFIA FAMILY card. Players can place a maximum of three CONTRABAND cards under their MAFIA FAMILY card. If the player has more that 3 cards to place, he can place over one or more of the already placed cards.
If one of the cards drawn from the CONTRABAND PILE is an FBI Agent, that player discards all the CONTRABAND CARDS under his MAFIA FAMILY card and does not receive any victory tokens for that round. He picks up the FBI agent and can play him in future rounds in the CONTRABAND pile.
If the CONTRABAND card matches the MAFIA FAMILY card above it, that player receives 2 victory tokens for that card. If the CONTRABAND card does not match the MAFIA FAMILY card, that player receives only 1 victory token forthat card.
Reseting the game
At the end of the turn, players draw from the CONTRABAND deck until they have 5 cards in hand. They then draw from the MAFIA FAMILY deck and place that card over their current MAFIA FAMILY card.
How to win
The game ends when there are no more CONTRABAND cards in the deck. Player with the most victory tokens wins.
