Jam Site Description:

Are you a current or aspiring game developer living in the Triangle area? Have you been looking for an opportunity to meet and work with likeminded people? Then Global Game Jam (GGJ) may be for you! Participants in GGJ work concurrently with developers around the globe, rallying around a central theme to create a game over the course of 48 hours.

IGDA NC-Triangle Chapter is pleased to announce that we will be partnering with the Carolina Game Developers Association of UNC Chapel Hill to host a GGJ site this year. What’s more, we’ll also be handing out a variety of awesome awards courtesy of Addicting Games, Atomic Empire, Baxter Bar and Arcade, Mighty Rabbit Studios, and Red Storm Entertainment. In fact, every participant in this GGJ site will receive a $10 gift card from Atomic Empire, so don’t wait to register!

This GGJ site will take place from 5:00 p.m. on Friday, January 29th through 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, January 31st at UNC Chapel Hill’s Sitterson Hall.
