CREDITS AND A FEW WORDS
This game is in no way meant as an insult to people who are visually impaired. Ramez Naam spoke on the GGJ 2016 keynote about how we nowadays get people’s attention mainly with action and explosions - but maybe sometimes something more meaningful should be there instead. “The Message”, if you will, something to make you think.
Because game jams are more or less about unique and special ideas we had an idea to create a game around a handicap and one "ritual" that is suffered by almost 300 million people worldwide. By “ritual” we mean the necessity of doing things relying only on your other senses.
Hopefully we were able to make a 48 hour game that makes you laugh and gives you something to think about.
