Jam Site Description:

American University hosted possibly the very first Global Game Jam ever in DC proper.  This jam was a huge success!

This fully-featured site, with non-stop access, security, catered meals and snacks, computers, prizes, prototyping materials, and more catered meals and snacks, hosted 60+ individuals who worked on 10 or so projects.  Many participants were first time jammers or had never worked on a game project of any kind before.
