Perspective is a 3D puzzle-maze block game created with the Unity engine. The game follows an anthropomorphic block as it traverses a series of mazes populated by NPC Block characters that react to how the Player Block treats them. The player may either push or pull blocks to designated areas, simply push them out of their way, or destroy them. Each action changes the player’s color and the way other blocks will treat them. Blocks may eventually grow hostile or helpful towards the player, either aiding or hindering them in navigating the mazes.
Perspective is interested in engaging issues of aging, and the interpersonal relationships that change us along that journey. Often who is an enemy and who is a friend are merely products of our perspective in relation to them, which is in turn dependent on how we treat them. In every interaction, people leave a little bit of themselves with you, and it is very difficult to go through life unchanged.
